  • Blender still going strong after all these years
    By admin on July 7th, 2010 | 1 Comment1 Comment Comments

I was 15 at the time, I was bored and just wanted something free and fun to create 3D things with. I literally typed in free graphic software (or something similar) and this was how I found Blender. Boy what a piece of treasure I found. It is still free and if you are interested, don’t hesitate and grab a copy yourself here.

This is the first project ever in years, probably more than 5 years. Still trying to figure out all the existing and new functionalities.

  • Check out SR Auto Group – sexy auto photo shoots
By admin on July 2nd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Image courtesy of SR Auto Group

I wet my pants quite often these days and I’m not sure why, maybe I’m getting old? I’ve recently stumbled upon yet another great site while bored – SR Auto Group. It showcases some of the best auto photo shoots for some of the world’s sexiest cars. Oh how I wish they could do one for my Audi A5 as well after looking at their S5 shots (here’s one of them).

The only thing I would suggest to them is to change how the images are displaying. Currently from the main page, the images are popping up as a new window, which is fine but would look definitely better using one of those widely available jQuery image/photo gallery scripts. Same goes for the gallery page where all the images are displayed on the same page after clicking their thumbnails.

I will keep visiting for sure though. :)

Update: the gallery page DOES use the jQuery script for displaying the images, I probably didn’t wait until all the images are loaded before clicking them (the script had probably not loaded yet). The ones from the main page does not though.

  • Metal Gear Solid: Rising – Will it better than Devil May Cry and Bayonetta?
By admin on June 14th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

I think I’ve just wet my pants while watching this trailer of the next Metal Gear Solid game, Metal Gear Solid: Rising. This time it won’t be a third person stealth action though and instead be more of a third person action (at least based on the trailer) with my beloved MSG character Raiden slashing the enemies. Raiden is looking cooler than ever, sort of his original look mixed with super saiyan from Dragon Ball series.

Unlike Star Wars: Force Unleashed’s light sabers, Raiden’s blade will actually let you cut or slice up your enemies the way you want. Thank you Konami for actually making this a realistic experience.

I’m all hyped up for this game right now!

Apple has announce its fastest and most powerful iPhone yet, offering critical new features including not one but two cameras with built-in LED flash, FaceTime calling, A4 processor, and at 9.3 millimeters thick it is the world’s thinnest iPhone. Another gold star for Apple it seems.

Proporta Shine Cases for the iPhone 4. Available in three colours (red, black and blue) with an internal mirror and a choice of beautiful print linings (floral, zebra print and nautical stripes).

This Chanel inspired Swarovski crystal phone case is a must-buy item. Its exquisite design is accentuated with jet black 10SS rhinestones crystals and clear white Swarovski crystals. The jet black rhinestones give this case a classic and sophisticated look. The clear Swarovski crystals that form the Chanel logo brings out the great fashion sense of the phone case owner.

The simple yet chic design makes this phone case versatile. You can use it even if you wear formal attire, cocktail dress or your typical jeans. There is no boundary or limit to when you can use this phone. Styling or matching your clothes and accessories with this phone case is not a problem. Because of its black color, you can mix and match it with any color.

If you put this Swarovski phone bling case in your mobile phone, you will surely be the center of everyone’s attention. The clear Swarovski crystals work perfectly with the jet black rhinestones. That is because the design, which is the Chanel logo, is highlighted. Who would not think that you can be trendy without spending a fortune?

But before you grab your phone and call the bling case shop you see, check it first and compare it with other online stores. You see, there are a lot of online shops that sell counterfeit versions. By all means stay away from these as they will just drain your pocket with high prices, expensive shipment fees and hidden charges. What’s worse is that these fraudulent online shops will not send you your items once you paid your purchase.

Buy your 3G Swarovski phone bling case from reliable online bling case shop. Here at Juicy Bling, you can have your phone casing at reasonable prices and have them delivered to you free of charge. Yes, great deal such as this is possible, so get your 3G Swarovski iPhone case now.

  • Alan Wake – one of those games where I wish I had an Xbox 360
By admin on May 17th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

    Alan Wake - Xbox 360
Alan Wake will be released tomorrow May 18th, is one of those games where I wish I had an Xbox 360. Some people might disagree with me but I wish I had this as a PS3 exclusive instead of Heavy Rain. Don’t get me wrong, Heavy Rain was good, but not good enough because it involves too much of just clicking buttons (I nearly fell asleep while playing the demo). I guess I prefer more action oriented thriller games like Alan Wake.

    Alan Wake - Xbox 360

Alan Wake really brings back memories from series such as Silent Hill and Fatal Frame. It has the atmosphere of Silent Hill. The way of killing the bad guys is to use things that produce light like flash bang, giant spot lights and flash lights which reminds me of Fatal Frame which also uses non conventional weapons like Camera Obscura, instead of guns and frag grenades.

    Alan Wake - Xbox 360

For those of you who has an Xbox 360 I think you should consider getting it or at least rent it.

Oh how I wish I had an Xbox 360…..

  • Addicted to HD Starcraft on YouTube

    starcraft 2 on youtube

So I haven’t been updating my blog for almost a month now due to work and work on the side (graphic design). Aside from that I’m also pretty addicted to HD Starcraft on YouTube. Its like watching TV series, once you start you cannot stop until you have finish all the episodes or until there are no more new episodes left.

Fortunately though, HD Starcraft has been doing commentating the original Starcraft games for more than a year ago so I’ve got tons of games to catch up. Watching the original Starcraft games just brough back so many memories (I actually reinstalled Starcraft just because of these YouTube videos). As I am writing this up, I am watching one of his one month old videos right now! His videos, as his name suggested are of high definition, specially after YouTube started supporting full 1080p HD quality videos. Though I only watch them in 480p on my computer which I think is clear enough.

So if you guys are as hyped up about Starcraft 2 as me, I strongly suggest you to take a look at his YouTube channel!

  • Hilarious Just Cause 2 flying people glitch
By admin on April 12th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

LMAO, this is one funny glitch from Just Cause 2. Just like one of the commentors said, this also reminds me of 2008’s The Happening where people mysteriously fall from the sky. This is one glitch that I won’t get tired of experiencing!
